Had to run out briefly today to mail a package for the office. Took a few personal minutes to accomplish some quick family grocery shopping at the nearby Giant. As I pulled into the parking lot, parked my 13-year old van (myself!), and headed towards the store, what do I notice?
A sign proclaiming: Now Available, Free Valet Parking for Giant Customers
Who'da thunk that this would ever be spotted in elitist McLean? And, for that matter, why do you need to provide this service to your customers in the first place? If they can't stand the summer heat walking from their parked car to the store, what are they doing out in it in the first place?
